Zara graduated from the University of Westminster with a Law degree (LLB (Hons)) and completed her Legal Practice Course in 2016. Zara studied law because of her passion to help people and make a lasting difference in their lives.
Whilst studying, Zara has gained extensive experience as a caseworker where she developed an expertise in a variety of immigration matters including all aspects of asylum claims, human rights, and appeals against deportation.
Zara has previously worked at a charity (Family Lives) as well as the UNHCR focusing on advice and representation on family matters. During this time, she also gained experience as a pro-bono caseworker.

Since joining Gulbenkian Andonian Solicitors, Zara currently has a varied caseload in all areas of immigration law of asylum and immigration work from the initial application stage through to appeals as well family reunion, EEA residence permits; nationality law as well as applications for permission to apply for judicial review.
She is passionate about her work and is committed to deliver advice which is in the client’s best interest.
She has been described as ‘A pleasure to work with, and is not afraid to pursue difficult challenges’.
In her spare time, she likes to travel and volunteer with charities.
