Celebrating 40 Years of Legal Excellence – Gulbenkian Andonian Solicitors

Last reviewed on 18 May 2026

We are proud to mark a major milestone in our firm’s journey with 2025 marking 40 years since Gulbenkian Andonian Solicitors first opened its doors.

Founded in 1985 by Dr Bernard Andonian, Paul Gulbenkian, and Lionel Harris, our firm began in the heart of London with a clear mission: to deliver expert legal advice with a client-first approach. From our roots as a niche immigration and nationality practice, we have grown into one of the UK’s leading full-service law firms, serving both domestic and international clients across a wide range of legal areas.

Over the last four decades, our team has built a strong reputation for handling complex legal matters for individuals and businesses with confidence and clarity. We have been proud to act in precedent-setting cases, shape legal discourse, secure Top Tier recognition in the Legal 500 rankings for years on end, and serve a series of global brands such as Sky, Allianz, Toyota, and Travelodge as our clients. This is a testament to the quality, discretion, and results-driven service we are known for.

We have also created a trusted presence in the media, regularly contributing insight to national and international outlets including the BBC, Bloomberg, The Guardian, LBC, and The Independent.

Throughout our 40 years, we’ve also been honoured by multiple industry awards and accolades, including placements in the Legal 500’s Hall of Fame and recognition by Corporate Livewire, CV Magazine, Best Lawyers, and ACQ Global Awards.

We recently relocated to new offices in Lincoln’s Inn Fields, which has placed us at the legal heart of London. Surrounded by leading barristers’ chambers and moments from the Royal Courts of Justice, our new location reflects both our legacy and our forward-looking commitment to excellence in legal service.

As the UK legal and political landscape continues to evolve, particularly in the field of immigration law, our team remains ready to advise on the implications of post-Brexit changes, sponsor licence obligations, settlement paths, and more. We also support clients in a range of legal areas including property, commercial law, employment law, civil disputes, family law, and notary services.

We thank all our clients, partners, and colleagues for their ongoing support over the past 40 years. We invite you to stay connected with us across our social media channels and look forward to continuing to serve you, today, tomorrow, and well into the future.
