Parul is a qualified solicitor with almost 5 years post qualification experience; specialising in a wide range of immigration, asylum and public law matters.
After completing her LLB Law (Hons) degree at the University of Westminster in 2009, she went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at The College of Law in 2011. In the same year, Parul began working as a caseworker and also completed her training contract at Duncan Lewis Solicitors, one of the largest legal aid firms in the UK.
Parul has represented many clients who are detained at immigration removal centres with complex human rights, asylum matters and challenging unlawful Home Office decisions, actions and omissions by way of Judicial Review. Parul has previously been accredited under the Law Society’s (Senior) Level 2 Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme, which means she has demonstrated specialist knowledge and experience in the area of immigration law and has previously advised and assisted publicly funded clients.
Parul is fully bilingual and speaks Bengali and English.
